JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager for Archival Arrangement and Document Digitization Services is responsible for organizing and overseeing the entire process of scientific archival arrangement and document digitization in accordance with professional standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct surveys and assessments to determine the scope and workload of each project.

  • Develop implementation plans, assign personnel, and monitor project progress for arrangement and digitization projects.

  • Participate in preparing and developing capability profiles for bidding on relevant service packages.

  • Coordinate with internal departments, partners, and project owners to ensure services are delivered as committed.

  • Identify, approach, and develop potential clients with needs for archival arrangement and digitization services.

  • Introduce and advise suitable digitization solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term cooperation.

  • Contribute to building marketing strategies and promoting services.

  • Report business performance periodically to the Board of Management.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Archival Studies or related fields preferred; professional archival certification is an advantage.

  • English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 550 or above.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of practical experience in the archival field; candidates with project experience are preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to evaluate and appraise archival documents.

  • Strong skills in writing and presenting project documentation.

  • Project management and progress control for digitization and arrangement projects.

  • Team organization, task allocation, and coordination skills.

  • Proficiency in office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
