Viettel Customer Service One Member Limited Liability Company is led and managed by Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, former CEO of Viettel Myanmar, in the position of Chairman and General Director.
On November 8, 2024, Viettel Group officially announced the appointment of the leadership team for Viettel Customer Service One-Member Limited Liability Company. The leadership structure is as follows:
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Chief Executive Officer of Viettel Myanmar, appointed as Chairman and General Director of Viettel Customer Service.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Van, Deputy Director of the Digital Transformation Center at Viettel Telecom Corporation, appointed as Deputy General Director of Viettel Customer Service.
Ms. Hoang Thi Tuyet Mai, Deputy Director of the Customer Service Center at Viettel Telecom Corporation, appointed as Deputy General Director of Viettel Customer Service.
Mr. Doan Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of the Group’s IT Department, appointed as Deputy General Director of Viettel Customer Service.

Viettel Group’s Chairman and President, Mr. Tao Duc Thang, highly appreciated Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, former CEO of Mytel, describing him as a young, well-trained and capable leader. The Chairman acknowledged Mr. Dung’s outstanding achievements during his tenure at Mytel, particularly his role in leading the company through numerous challenges and achieving significant business breakthroughs during Myanmar’s period of political instability and international sanctions. Mytel’s rise to become the No.1 telecom operator in the market bears a strong leadership imprint of Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung.
According to Mr. Tao Duc Thang, customer service is a new and challenging field. In his capacity as the head of the newly established company, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung is expected to leverage his technological expertise and deep understanding of customer behavior gained during his time in Myanmar to effectively manage and develop Viettel Customer Service. In parallel, the company is tasked with developing strategies to rapidly expand its customer base.

The Chairman also shared his assessment of the company’s highly experienced leadership team. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Van is among the first members who built and developed the Call Center from its early days. Despite limited resources and tools at the outset, her strong organizational and management skills, combined with a deep understanding of customer needs, have significantly contributed to the sustainable growth of the Call Center.
“Ms. Van’s enduring contributions remain instrumental in today’s customer care practices,” remarked Mr. Tao Duc Thang.
Ms. Hoang Thi Tuyet Mai was recognized for her dedication, meticulousness and perseverance. “In my personal view, very few people excel in customer care as she does,” Mr. Tao Duc Thang remarked.

For Mr. Doan Thanh Tam, the Chairman expressed high expectations of his expertise in data management and emphasized the importance of leveraging data and technology to better understand customers — even to anticipate their needs before they are expressed.
In his overall assessment, the Chairman and President of Viettel Group stated:
“This is a young, experienced and highly dedicated leadership team. I expect you to elevate the Company to a new level, not only to expand Viettel’s business portfolio, but also to provide customer care services across multiple industries in Vietnam, beyond Viettel’s current customer base of over 100 million.”
Accepting his new role, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung shared that after more than 10 years in senior leadership positions at Viettel IDC and Mytel, he has gained extensive experience and insight into customer experience management. He affirmed his readiness to embrace new challenges and expressed his strong determination to achieve breakthrough results. He also emphasized that advanced technologies would be deeply and comprehensively applied to elevate Viettel’s customer service capabilities.
